What is Auto Vino?
AutoVino in San Carlos is a unique event venue featuring estate-grown wine, gourmet wood-fired food, and a collection of rare cars. It operates as a public wine garden on weekends and a private event space during the week, providing a relaxed setting for tastings and gatherings.

Do I need a reservation?
No reservations are needed for public events—walk-ins are welcome. Private and corporate events must be booked in advance to secure your date.
What is Cars & Cabernet?
Cars & Cabernet is our monthly open house event, held on the third Sunday of every month. Guests can explore a rotating selection of rare cars, enjoy estate-grown wine, and order from our wood-fired menu, all in a relaxed, come-and-go atmosphere.
What wines do you serve?
All wines are produced and aged on-site at AutoVino under the Woodside Vineyards label. We use high-quality French and American oak barrels from top cooperages. Our current varietals include Kings Mountain Cabernet, Pinot Noir, and Zinfandel. Wines are available for purchase by the glass, bottle, or case.
Can I purchase wine to take home?
Yes. Bottles and cases are available for purchase during Friday Happy Hour, weekend wine tastings, and Cars & Cabernet.
What kind of food is available?
At our public events, we serve a gourmet menu from our restored 1955 Flxible Diner Bus. Our offerings include Neapolitan-style pizzas, tri-tip steak sandwiches, marinated salmon, burgers, and curated charcuterie boards.
For private and corporate events, our French-trained chef creates customizable menus tailored to your specific occasion. These can range from seated dinners to passed appetizers and multi-course pairings.
Is Auto Vino dog-friendly?
Yes. Leashed dogs are always welcome in the Wine Garden during public events.
Is there live music?
Yes, you will often enjoy live acoustic performances during our Friday Happy Hour and Cars & Cabernet events. For private occasions, guests are welcome to bring their musical entertainment, ranging from jazz trios to full rock bands. If not, we can help you arrange trusted performers from our network. The venue is fully equipped to accommodate a variety of live music setups.
Are children allowed?
Yes. Children are welcome during daytime public events. We ask that they remain under close supervision, as the venue includes exotic vehicles and open-fire cooking areas.
