Cars & Cabernet at AutoVino
AutoVino’s Cars & Cabernet is a signature monthly event in San Carlos, California, where rare cars, handcrafted wines, and wood-fired cuisine come together in a refined yet relaxed setting. Held every third Sunday of the month, the event invites guests to explore at their own pace—whether you drop in for a glass or stay through lunch, the experience is yours to shape.
What You’ll See at AutoVino’s Cars & Cabernet
Each month, over 100 collector cars arrive at AutoVino, including vintage Ferraris, classic muscle, European supercars, and custom builds. Local collectors bring these vehicles, making each event distinctive and community-driven.
Guests can walk freely among the rows, take photos, and start conversations with the owners. Without ropes or barriers, the layout encourages up-close access and meaningful interaction.
Wine Tasting in the Garden
The wine at Cars & Cabernet is produced on-site at Woodside Vineyards, AutoVino’s in-house winery. Each bottle is crafted from grapes sourced from premium hillside vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains, known for their coastal influence and rocky soils that create exceptional wines. Visitors can view the barrel room, where wines are aged in French and American oak, enhancing the tasting experience just steps from where the wine is made.
Estate Wines, Poured Fresh from the Source
Selections vary by season, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy what’s in season and tastes best at the moment. Every bottle reflects the character of the land and the care of the winemaking team.
• Chardonnay
• Pinot Noir
• Zinfandel
• Kings Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Wines are available by the glass or bottle. The shaded Wine Garden offers a comfortable space to sip, relax, and take in the surroundings.
Wood-Fired Cuisine from a Restored 1955 Diner Bus
At the center of the culinary experience is a restored 1955 Flxible Diner Bus, equipped with a cutting-edge oak-wood-fired oven that reaches 900°F. This unique kitchen-on-wheels allows our chefs to prepare food to order using open-flame cooking techniques.
The food is bold, fresh, and packed with flavor. From the crisp crust of Neapolitan pizza to the caramelized edges of fire-roasted tri-tip, each dish showcases the intensity of oak-fired heat. The menu changes seasonally, offering returning guests something new to try each month.
